I love this time of year, the weather is starting to warm up and I can finally go for long walks on the beach without a coat and still be warm. I was so excited when Fat Face got in touch to tell me all about their springtime collection, Love Blue. The fresh, versatile range aims to showcase the blue and denim shades featured on the SS15 runways. Blue is such a key colour trend this season, so is perfect for creating a variety of looks perfect for the warmer weather!
I was lucky enough to chose 2 items from the range to piece together a couple of looks. Firstly, I chose the Campbell Cable Crew Jumper in Navy. This is perfect for long walks on the beach as it’s lovely and warm if the wind picks up. With classic cabled knit design it’s great for layering over shirts, tops or just to wear on it’s own and looks fab with jeans. In the pictures below I’ve paired it with some lose fitting jeans, a light cotton Fat Face top (for the moments the wind drops) and blue converse for a really casual look. I’ve also worn it to dinner, paired with skinny jeans, a smart shirt and heels for a more dressed up look so it’s such a versatile piece.
I have then chosen a completely different look with the Bramley Stripe Dress. This is such a flattering cut, which makes it really comfortable to wear as I hate clothes that cut in and feel tight in all the wrong places. I chose to add a touch of glam to this dress and wear it to the recent Bloggers event at Forde Hair (take a look at the post for a few pics!) The dress is so versatile – it could easily be worn as a casual outfit with flat ballet pumps or for something a little more dressy with the right accessories – that’s the beauty of Fat Fat clothing.
Overall, I didn’t have many Fat Face items in my wardrobe, I’d always thought they’d be out of my price range but they are such great quality I think a little more investment is worth it for such versatile, key pieces that can be worn time and time again, and still look great!
Do check out the Fat Face range either online or instore, they also have a beautiful ‘Indian Garden‘ range which I have my eye on too (the dangers of Internet shopping!).
