Last weekend I travelled to Berlin with a group of friends. We had such an amazing time, sightseeing, exploring and of course visiting the many amazing Christmas markets that pop up all over the city at this time of year. It was such a Winter Wonderland all around, lights, decorations and the scent of mulled wine filled the air with every step. Here are some of our best pictures from the magical Berlin Christmas markets.
Vee Vee and I post by this ornate bar/restaurant
The huge ferris wheel I dragged everyone on, everyone was terrified (it did creak quite a bit) but I loved it. We saw the Christmas markets from above, with the giant ice rink below and right across the city – the views were just beautiful.
Pretty stars, I really wanted one of these for our new house!
Vee laughing as we bought the same ornament in Cape Verde, which was supposedly ‘hand carved’. Hmm ok then!
The first of many glüweins!
The gang (enjoying another glüwein!
Moving onto the next market, I loved the pretty stars that topped each tent and giant Christmas tree!

One more glüwein for good luck (and these mugs were too cute!)
I loved every minute of the Christmas Markets! I finally started to feel festive after such a busy few weeks. We ate good food and drank one too many glüweins and had so much fun.
If you enjoyed these pictures, keep and eye out for my sightseeing post, coming soon!
Have you been to any Christmas markets this year?
