I was overjoyed to hear the Body Shop were revamping their traditional ‘White Musk’ scent. I can still remember the hype it stirred up during the 90’s, I’m sure I had a bottle kicking around in the bottom of my school bag for years. Now, the White Musk scent is back, but this time it’s grown up, seductive and sexy. Meet White Musk Smoky Rose Eau De Toilette*. The Body Shop describe the scent as a ‘daring and mysterious fragrance, featuring a cruelty-free musk with notes of black smoky rose and tobacco flower’.
I was not disappointed at all by the new revamp, the perfume is floral and fruity, a rich scent perfect scent for Autumn/Winter. It feels more mature than it’s White Musk little sister, and in my opinion feels higher-end than you would expect. The bottle is striking and looks great on any dressing table, again this adds a little class to the product. Since I got my bottle of White Must Smoky Rose I’ve been wearing it on a daily basis, and had a few compliments too.
For just £10 for the Eau de Toilette and £13 for the Eau de Parfum it’s a really great buy for this season and comes highly recommended. It’s difficult to describe a perfume as it can be different on every person, so I recommend popping into a store and testing it out for yourself, remember to leave it a while so it can develop, enjoy a coffee and see how it works for you.
