I am really loving this hair treatment from Mark Hill at the moment. Having heavily coloured my hair I have to make sure I treat it well. This product is perfect for hair that is abused like mine with colours and heat appliances – this dehydrates the hair, leaving it susceptible to damage. Mark Hill MiracOILicious 2 Minute Intensive Treatment* is a blend of 14 of the finest essential oils and plant extracts, these include the haircare ‘liquid gold’ Argan Oil, as well as a good dose of Ylang-Ylang, Bergamot, Spearmint, Pachouli and White Birch – just to name a few of the ingredients!
To use the treatment:
After shampooing squeeze out any excess water
Massage through from roots to ends (if you get greasy roots, start a bit further down)
Leave for 2 minutes
Rinse thoroughly
My top tip:
I always rinse with cool water. This helps to close the cuticles of the hair, giving a shinier, soft and sleek look. This also protects the hair from further harm as the cuticles are closed.
I really love this product. The formula itself is rich and creamy, you can feel it softening your hair as you apply. Just two minutes and the product has absorbed into the hair, so it’s quick too and the best bit – it smells just gorgeous! I have got to say this is my favourite scented hair product of all time. It’s strong and sweet and after using it I kept catching little breezes of it all day, I even had a couple of compliments from other people who asked me what I had used on my hair as it smells so gorgeous.
After using the treatment, I found my hair was more manageable and dried smoothly without so much frizz. This was great as I then used the straightening irons to curl the ends and they were gliding through the hair making smooth, even curls.
I currently use this product once a week for an intensive treatment, and it’s kept my hair in great condition.
